BOROH The Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta and Coordinator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Brigadier General Paul Boroh (Rtd), has again emphasized the need to train youths to fill up the gap in skilled labour in the power sector; adding that the middle-skilled jobs may only require basic technical education and training but not a university degree as the case may be. Trained and Empowered Amnesty Beneficiaries are successfully producing items that will add value to the economy. From Rice, Fishes and Chickens in the agricultural sector; to Shoes, Hats and Belts in the Fashion industry; Amnesty Beneficiaries  are showing the world that they are Reintegrated and can add value. GREEN HOUSE

18 delegates of the Presidential Amnesty Programme are currently undergoing training at a greenhouse farm in Epe, Lagos State. The training covers modern farming techniques in tomato and pepper cultivation in a protected greenhouse. Other areas of training include, aquaculture, snail rearing and piggery.
