Niger Delta Presidential Amnesty Beneficiaries Produced 1500 bags of Rice on empowerment. Niger Delta Presidential Amnesty Beneficiaries Shock The Nation! Produce and distribute 1500 bags of Rice. The success stories of the Presidential Amnesty Programme Beneficiaries just keep coming. The latest one is the production of 1500 bags of Rice by 100 Amnesty Beneficiaries. The beneficiaries during their training and mentorship phases, nurtured, milled and packed 1500 bags of high quality rice grains. This process took place in a farm in Ogoja, Cross Rivers State. The next phase of their reintegration, would be their full empowerment. This would entail allocation of land, and necessary rice farming Implements, to the trained Ex Agitators. Over 50 actual Ex Militants are part of this group. Agencies like the Bank of Agriculture, Ministry of Agriculture and the Anchor Borrowers Programme have already keyed into this success story by partnering to support these new farmers moving forwar

AMNESTY OFFICE TO PARTNER THE INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE OF PLANTATION MANAGEMENT IN MALAYSIA ON JOB CREATION The Special Adviser to President Mahammadu Buhari on Niger Delta and Coordinator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Brig-Gen. Paul Boroh (Rtd) has expressed his interest in collaborating with a Malaysian premier agricultural research institute, The International Institute of Plantation Management (IIPM) in Malaysia, which serves as a professional body, representing all sectors of the plantation industry in the Asian country.   Gen. AMNESTY BOSS URGES NIGER DELTA YOUTHS TO IMBIBE CULTURE OF PEACE AND NON-VIOLENCE, AS HE BAGS HUMANITARIAN SERVICE AWARD The Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta and Coordinator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Brig-Gen. Paul Tarela Boroh (Rtd), has advised youths from the Niger Delta region to engage in acts that would promote culture of peace and non-violence in their quest for attention from the relevant authorities, assuring that the federal government was committed to the its new vision for sustainable peace and development of the region. Shifting consciousness from oil to agriculture in the Niger Delta By Paul Boroh, the Farming General. As an officer in the Army, I took to farming believing that is the future of the country and that on a personal level, I could better sustain my family. Our lands are so fertile that I did not need much fertilizer; the inputs were minimal and the yields were much. Our climate, by God’s grace is predictable; it rains when it should rain and the sun shines when it should; so why not take advantage of what nature has freely given us as Nigerians. When in July 2015, His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari appointed me Special Adviser on Niger Delta and Coordinator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, I had the primary responsibilities of streamlining the Programme and transforming it back on track, working for peace in the Niger Delta and sustainably reintegrating some 30,000 Amnesty beneficiaries back into society.
