AMNESTY OFFICE PARTNERS WITH NIGERIAN CONTENT DEVELOPMENT AND MONITORING BOARD (NABDA) TO ENGAGE OVER 4000 EX-AGITATORS.

The Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta Affairs and Coordinator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Brigadier General Paul Boroh, in a bid to engage as many Ex Agitators as possible, has reached out to the Nigerian Content Development And Monitoring Board

The objective is to get the board to assist in the assessment recertification and engagement of over 4000 beneficiaries of the Amnesty Programme. 

With a pool of over 13000 already trained beneficiaries in various vocational activities, General Boroh is evidently on the right track of training and engaging all beneficiaries of the Programme in no distant time. 

General Boroh who led a delegation of stakeholders and officials of the Amnesty Office, met with the Executive Secretary, Engr Simbi Kesiye Wabote and officials of NABDA, Yesterday, at the boards National Headquarters, in Yenegoa, to brainstorm on strategies to engage trained beneficiaries of the Amnesty Programme.

The Executive Secretary expressed his delight on how the Amnesty Programme is currently being run, laying emphasis on General Boroh's focus on agriculture which is in line with the Federal Government's new strategy to diversify the economy. He promised to do everything in his power to assist General Boroh in his bid to engage all beneficiaries of the Amnesty Programme and Niger Delta Youths inclusive. 

The Special Adviser who was well equipped with facts and figures of trained beneficiaries, briefed the Executive Secretary on how far the Amnesty Office has gone with training and empowerment of the beneficiaries. He highlighted the skills most of the beneficiaries have acquired and urged multinationals and government agencies to consider, engaging these youths rather than, importing manpower from other countries.
